Dr Paul Cosgrove

Dr Paul Cosgrove is a research associate in the Nuclear Energy group in the Department of Engineering.

Specialisms

Dr Cosgrove's research focuses on numerical methods for the design and simulation of nuclear reactors. He has particular interests in methods for particle transport, multi-physics algorithms, and stability analysis.

He is also a lecturer on the Nuclear Energy MPhil and a College Post-Doctoral Associate of Jesus College.

Dr Cosgrove leads the Computational Reactor Modelling module, as well as giving supervisions and assisting in the running of the Nuclear Policy module Electricity Game. He supervises MPhil projects on radiation transport, reactor simulation, and software development.
